War Cemetery in Bazenville was opened two days after D-Day, in the
Gold Beach zone, where the 50th British Division landed
on June 6th 1944.
It contains 979 graves belonging to 630 British
soldiers, 21 Canadians, 1 Australian, 1 Pole
and 326 Germans.
